Gulf War Illness!
Within the last few weeks, people have questioned a good friend of mine and his illness. Since I’m a firm believer in researching things before opening my mouth or judging others, I tend to look into things first. Therefore, I have done some research about Gulf War Illness and have come up with several links for people to read and attempt to understand how serious and REAL this disease is. Now, please keep in mind that there are still more researches going on in regards to the Gulf War Illness. And if you think about it, these men and woman who suffer from this illness, and have passed it down to their children, has showed the government that they made a HUGE mistake. Because of this, the men and women that are fighting for our country today, hopefully, will not have to deal with the same disease. However, there aren’t any guarantees; in fact, these soldiers may contract a whole new disease. Let’s pray that isn’t the case.
Gulf War Illness IS in FACT REAL! Yes, there are lawsuits pending to this day.

I do smoke right now. I've quit for several months, and concurrently working on getting rid of it again.

What makes you happy? Why?
My son is my biggest joy in my life. He's funny, loving,caring and very smart.

What makes you sad? Why?
When people judge you before even getting to know you. Don't just judge me for the way I look, get to know me. You will find that I am a decent person. Sure, I can act silly. But I do have a mind, if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to get a 4.0 GPA in college.
I do try to treat people the way I want to be treated. Many people on nowlive have seen that I am more than what you see.

Do you have favorite type of music? Favorite bands or singers?
I'm not listening to any music right now. However, being a child from the 80's, I enjoy all types from the 80's, with the exception of rap and country music.
I do enjoy classic rock, jazz, music from the 50's and classical music.

What type of films do you enjoy? Please give some examples:
I would have to say that my favorite movie would have to be Labyrinth, with David Bowie. I even got my daughter hooked on the sound track.
The most recent movie that I saw was "You Don't Want To Mess With The Zohan." A very funny movie.

Do you enjoy television? Which programs?
There are several different television shows that I enjoy watching. Just to name a few, I enjoy Hell's Kitchen, all the CSI shows, and I do enjoy the history channel.

Do you like to read? If so, what books have you enjoyed recently?
I don't have a favorite book. However, I do have a favorite Author, who is Nora Roberts. I just love the way that woman writes! She writes stories with a little mystery, love and my goodness, the sex scenes. LOL.
I read most of her books and currently reading "Find The Dream".

Do you follow sports? Which teams are you interested in?
My family has always cheered for the Dodgers for three generations. Way back to when it was the Brooklyn Dodgers. I don't care if they are on the other coast now, I will keep the tradition alive. However, I do also root for the Mets.

I have so many different interests. Some are good, some are naughty. LOL.
I do enjoy sitting down with a good book, spending time with my children, people watching, meeting new people, and all kinds of arts and crafts.

Any where that is peaceful. I would like to return to a small town, new mountains and plenty of lakes to fish in or a forest to explore.
