I am a multifacted person who loves the arts. I'm a college grad., a mother and a poet. My poetry is on MySpace and occasionally on Writer's Cafe. Welcome! ; )
What is your current occupation? Do you enjoy it?
At the moment, I am at home, raising my sons, and also in the process of beginning studies at a medical college in radiography to become an x-ray technician, God willing.

What is your educational background? Are you currently in school?
I'm a college graduate with an Associate degree in General Studies, and an now going for another Associates in Radiography.

Describe your lifestyle and current relationship status:
I'm married and have 2 young sons, whom I absolutely adore, even when they make me insane, lol. And I have wonderful friends who I've been blessed to have in my life now for many, many years, and still going strong.

Do you have any vices (smoking/drinking/etc)? Describe:
I don't smoke (yuck!), and only drink on occasion. My only real vice is junk food...or food in general; but having been slim all my life, I can get away with it, lol. ; )~

Do you have any "heroes" in your life or your work? Describe:
My heroes, besides the underrated and revolutionary Jesus, are just people who are determined and work toward their dreams, and don't allow anything to stand in their way, and those who have a heart to accomplish amazing and life changing, positive things for our planet.

I have many, they change with the season, but for now, I'll say this one....The joy is in the journey, not the destination.

What makes you happy? Why?
Those unexpected moments of joy, that sneak up on you when you're not looking. Those are the best kind of 'surprises' and 'happy' moments.

What makes you sad? Why?
Many things; the sad state of the world, injustice, abuse, betrayal....the list goes on.

Name five (5) items you can't live without:
My french vanilla coffee, chocolate cake, my potato salad (to die for!), my laptop, my collection of music and movies!

Describe your most "humbling" moment:
When my oldest son was born, and I had to go see him in the NICU at the hospital where he was born for three weeks, before he died...his beautiful, temporary presence in my life changed and affected me forever.

Do you have favorite type of music? Favorite bands or singers?
Oh man, too many to name..I love many artists and genres of music....I just love music!

What type of films do you enjoy? Please give some examples:
I love action, romance, comedy, musicals, documentaries, real life stories, independent films...almost anything.

Do you enjoy television? Which programs?
When I get to watch...I spend more time on my laptop these days, lol. But I love 'House' and 'ER' and 'Law and Order SVU', and I love, love, love 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', when I get to watch.

Do you like to read? If so, what books have you enjoyed recently?
I've always been a 'bookworm' since I can remember, and though I don't get as much time to read nowadays, with two active boys and a home to care for, I do still love to peek through a book when I get the opportunity.

Nope, not really, not much for sports.

Do you have any hobbies or other interests? Describe:
I have many things I enjoy, among them being what I am most known for at the moment: poetry. And I also sing, and have been encouraged to start my own radio blog show...we'll see!

Where are your favorite places? Where would you like to go most?
I'd just love to travel; so many places I'd love to see and explore.
