Wow, I just downloaded your guys podcast for the first time, I thought it was really great. 2 couple of laid back easy going guys talking about pokemon. Well, I started pokemon back in 1998. My brother used to watch the cartoon series and he even memorized the whole pokemon rap. I was shocked. I thought the show was dumb, then I watched it a couple of times then I started to like it. He lost interest, I started to buy the trading cards. Then I was playing pokemon card tournaments in San Francisco, which is my hometown, then I moved to Spokane, Washington had a daughter and attended Gonzaga University at the same time. On tournament days, I went to 3 pokemonleague on Saturday, ending up coming home at 10 at night. Wow, that is crazy. Then I started playing the gameboy games. They are great, I love them all. People tell me to grow up, but how can I if I am having fun. I am a big kid. I come from the generation of Transformers, Gi Joe, Thundercats ect. I am a big kid but serious at the same time. I was a former broker for Merrill Lynch and former member of the Army Boxing team, so, I am definently not afraid to say I am a big kid. I now live in Frankfurt, Germany and was even ranked 8th place in German in the card game. Oh, did I say, I met my wife at a pokemon league tournament. You know with the trading card games? Yeah, I offered her a pikachu card, said come to my apartment and check out my collection and then she got pregnant and we have been married for 5 years. Being a big kid is not so bad, it is actually, fun, especially when everyone else is serious. I am now 32, so, I guess I am pretty old. Going to Pokemon Day here at the McDonalds here in German and standing in line waiting to get my mew downloaded on my gameboy. Keep the casts coming. Kent (pokemonjunkie)
